The four are walking down a Christmas-y hallway that smells of the freshly baked gingerbread Chara and Idony attempted to make earlier. It has a slightly burnt edge to it, as Chara can’t bake and Idony. . . .can’t see. “Smell that?” Chara asks the group dreamily. “It’s the smell of fresh gingerbread. . . and we’re going to make gingerbread houses out of it! Yes, you heard me right!” she adds when Apen and Berlyne roll their eyes. “You and Apen, me and Enel. It’s a couples’ challenge! You have as long as you need up until dusk, and there will be a judge!” Chara looks proud to have coordinated all of this, not noticing that Ape would rather be probably anywhere else in the world except stuck in a room for hours with Enel. She opens the door dramatically, revealing soft white pieces of felt everywhere. “Chara, is that
